Privacy Policy
Effective May 15, 2026
AustinDentistFinder (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a curated online directory of dental practices serving Austin and surrounding areas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
From visitors. We collect minimal information when you browse the directory: standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not require an account to view listings.
From applicants. When a dental practice submits the “Apply to Be Listed” form, we collect the information voluntarily provided, which may include: practice name, contact name, email address, phone number, website, address, price range, specialties offered, insurance accepted, and a description of what makes the practice unique.
Publicly available information. For listings we curate ourselves, we may include information drawn from publicly available sources, including the practice’s own website and public review platforms.
2. How We Use Information
- To review and respond to listing applications.
- To display approved practices in the public directory.
- To communicate with applicants about their submission or listing.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share applicant contact details with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following service providers to operate the site. Each handles data subject to its own privacy practices:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — web hosting and edge delivery.
- Google Maps Platform — location data, place details, and business photos.
4. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to operate the site, including session cookies for the admin area. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Data Retention
We retain application data for as long as a listing remains active or for a reasonable period afterward to maintain our records. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA; we will honor verifiable requests.
7. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Material changes will be announced on the site.
